  Tutorial Overview

This tutorial provides instructions for using each of the WebTIE CTC applications in the following sequence:

1. WebTIE CTC Companion: The desktop application runs on your desktop computer and is used for entering all patient and staff data, and for viewing and printing all graded adverse event reports. The application sends patient and staff data to the Palm device and receives adverse event reports from the Palm device.

2. WebTIE CTC Palmtop Application: The Palmtop application runs on your Palm device and is used for remote adverse event grading.

If you are using a Windows CE-based Palm PC, please refer to your Palm PC manual for operating instructions. Before using the WebTIE PPC CTC application you should have: (1) a basic understanding of how to use a Palm PC, (2) Windows CE Services installed on your desktop computer, and (3) a Palm PC cradle attached to your desktop computer.

If you are using a Palm Pilot, please refer to your Palm Pilot manual for operating instructions. Before using the WebTIE Palm Pilot CTC application you should have: (1) a basic understanding of how to use a Palm Pilot, (2) Palm Pilot software installed on your desktop computer, and (3) a Palm Pilot cradle attached to your desktop computer.
